what the app does and does not do with your information. The short version: the app has no

The following is created and stored locally on your phone (using Android Room and
DataStore) and is never uploaded to us or anyone else:
This data stays on the device. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
To show weather, the app sends the coordinates (latitude and longitude) of the city you
choose to the Open-Meteo public weather API (https://open-meteo.com) over an encrypted
HTTPS connection, and receives the forecast in return. If you turn on the optional "use my
location" setting, your approximate (coarse) location is used to look up those coordinates.
No account, device identifier, name, email, or advertising ID is sent. Weather responses are
cached on the device for about 30 minutes. Open-Meteo's own terms and privacy practices
apply to that request.
weather widget. Typing a city name never requires this.
is read on the device and is never transmitted.
session access to show and control whatever is currently playing. The app does not read,
store, or transmit the content of your notifications. You enable this yourself in Settings
and can turn it off at any time.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Because your content lives only on your device, you control it. Uninstalling the app or using
Android's "clear data" removes it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at the same location with a new
effective date.
